Malls
There are several malls here and at my surprise seems like everyone is there. At the hotel there is a mall behind us and Sydney and I go over there every day so they can clean the room and come back for lunch at the hotel. Sydney already knows Adu Dhabi shopping she tells me everyday shopping momma shopping . Looks like I have a shopper in the making. Thanks to my mom she learned the word Adu Dhabi, which I would think would be hard to say, but she tells us when we are driving Adu Dhabi we try to tell her we are here in Adu Dhabi. I am not sure if she understands, but she seems to be adjusting just fine. Today Sydney's new word is chicken nugget.

Finally we hear from you, I thought you'd disappeared!!So how is the house hunting going?
ReplyDeleteLove that she is a shopper, my sister and niece turned my litte one into a shopping lover after 2 days! Oh Paul you are funny, UG usually means under ground and UL usually upper level. The -1 is very much how they do it in Europe also so you know its a level below ground, which is 0 or G then its 1, 2 so 1 is not usually ground like it is here in the US. Weird for you not for me...hahahaha glad you are having fun exploring love all the pics!!!! Hugs to ye
Glad there are malls - and that they are air conditioned. North Texas has already had 17 days with the temp 101 or above so I'm glad for air conditioning. By the way, I've thought about you quite a bit these past few days, Beth - the Mary Kay gathering is going on and there are many more than there were last year. You will have to make some friends and sell over there.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried any new foods that are not familiar? I imagine that if it were me, I would stick with the familiar.
I'm really enjoying the pictures - you should let Sydney have a hand at the Arabic instructions. Kids catch on fast, you know.
Love reading about your new life and activities.
Love, Gran
